Botany at Bear Mead
|
|
Mike Faherty from the BNSS walked round Bear Mead
on 4 Jul 2013, and has just sent me this list of flowering plants
he spotted. He told me "I'm a member of Bournemouth Natural
Science Society, and occasionally lead Botany field trips for members.
We're always looking out for new locations for botany field trips.
Any chance of a trip to your reserve? Guided, even?
We are not professional botanists, basically plant-lovers.
[Afterwards], a plant list for Bear Mead. A couple of notes -
We generally don't do grasses; We only include plants in flower;
The couple of items in red are less common."
